Like pizza Margherita, it features the colors of the Italian flag: green, white, and red. This easy, healthy choice is a great side addition to your main course, it goes well with a Steak Sandwich, Meatballs and any other lunch, it is also a good choice for an appetizer, you can also notice that Caprese Salad makes it to the top list of appetizer in Italian menus.
